Delerium Remixes and Unreleased Tracks The following tracks are either special remixes on various compilations, or unreleased tracks that are hard or impossible to find elsewhere. 1. Silence (Sanctuary Mix) [ .mp3 (7.7Mb) ] [ .rm ] [ .wav ] The Sanctuary Mix of "Silence" is the early 1999 smash club hit in the UK. DJ Paul Oakenfold has been playing the track during his sets, which has launched the underpromoted track from 1997's "Karma" to new heights. The remix was done by Neil Colo & Chris Fortier, and it's a good one! This remix is available with other really great remixes on the highly recommended "Plastic Compilation Volume 2" on Nettwerk Records, 0 6700 30129-2 Note: This mix is also now available outside the USA on the new Silence single. 2. Justify My Love (Released as Frontline Assembly) [ .mp3 (4.7Mb) ] [ .rm ] [ .wav ] Justify My Love is taken from the Virgin Voices: A Tribute to Madonna album on Cleopatra records. While released as Frontline Assembly, the track features Bill and Kristy Thirsk (of Semantic Spaces/Karma Delerium albums), and was reported to be initially tagged as a Delerium track, until Nettwerk nixed that idea. The track is very good - while it bears little resemblance to the Madonna original, it shows a dark side of Kristy, as well as the typically beautiful flowing sound that Bill and Kristy do so well together. The rest of the compilation, which features Heaven 17, Astralasia, KMFDM, Gene Loves Jezebel, Spahn Ranch, and more, is a very mixed sound ranging from remix to cover, and is definately worth purchasing. The album's release date was March 23 in North America. Pick it up if you enjoy Madonna, Delerium, or electro-dance covers! "Virgin Voices: A Tribute To Madonna Volume One" on Cleopatra Records CLP 0426-2. See Feb 16 News for complete track listing. 3. New Year's Day (Released as Frontline Assembly) [ .mp3 (5.8Mb) ] [ .rm ] [ .wav ] New Year's Day is taken from the We Will Follow: A Tribute to U2 album on Cleopatra records. Again released as Frontline Assembly, the track includes Tiffany (yes, THAT Tiffany!). Amazingly enough, the track sounds very good! Tiffany has a great voice -- unfortunately the stigma of her 80's mall-superstar days might hinder fans from giving this track a try. In any event, we have the track for you, no strings attached! If you like it, consider picking up the rest of the compilation. It includes tracks from Spahn Ranch, Heaven 17, Die Krupps, and more. Like Virgin Voices, the compilation ranges from remixes to covers. It was released on July 13 in North America. "We Will Follow: A Tribute to U2" on Cleopatra Records CLP 0596-2. See Aug 17 News for complete track listing. Note: This is now the full-length track. 4. Heaven's Earth (Matt Darey Remix) [ .mp3 (9.9Mb) ] [ .rm ] [ .wav ] This is the Matt Darey remix from the European Heaven's Earth singles. The original version can be found on the 2CD Karma and the Karma Bonus Disc. This remix features a unique direction and sound for the track, and on the whole, is definately worth the listen. 5. Aria [ .mp3 (4.8Mb) ] Sampler Mix [ .mp3 (3.8Mb)] Silence Single Mix [ .rm ] [ .wav ] This is a long-awaited new track from Delerium, offered on the Virgin Megastores sampler of the Plastic 3 compilation. This will be a track from the forthcoming next Delerium album (date not yet announced as of March 2000). Anyway, it was only available on the Virgin sampler, which many of you have no access to due to lack of Virgin stores in your area, but you can enjoy it here! The second mix is from the US Silence Single, which many feel is a better mix. 6. Conjure One - Redemption - Max Graham Trance Remix [ .mp3 (6.6Mb) ] [ .rm (8.2Mb) ] [ .wav ] The very first real Conjure One track, in trance remix form by Max Graham. This is the title track from the eponymous album "Conjure One", due to hit the shelves somewhere in spring 2001. It's been a long wait, but well worth it. Give it a listen! 7. Conjure One - Redemption - Album Version [ .mp3 (10Mb) ] [ .rm ] [ .wav ] The Album Version, much requested. .mp3 files are MPEG-3 encoded full-length tracks. .rm files are STREAMING RealPlayer G2 56K full-length tracks. .wav files are Windows Wave ~30 second clips. |
